Automation Anywhere is a company that builds software to automate office tasks, things like paperwork and back-end systems. Boost.ai builds AI that can talk with customers, by text or by voice, and understand what they need. Putting the two together means a customer could talk to an AI, and that AI could then finish the job in the background, without a human having to step in and process it separately.

The deal was announced on October 7. It is expected to close, meaning it becomes final and official, in the fourth quarter of 2026. That is still a long wait, and the deal still needs normal regulatory approval before it can go through.

Why Boost.ai matters

Boost.ai is not a small startup. It already works with hundreds of organizations, and it is especially strong in Europe. Its customers include companies in finance, telecom, and insurance, industries where rules are strict and mistakes are costly.

The company says its AI platform works in more than 36 languages. It also says that in real-world use, its AI resolves more than 90% of customer requests without needing extra help. Some of its known customers include Nordea, DNB, Sage, and Trading 212.

Jerry Haywood, CEO of Boost.ai, said the company has shown that conversational and voice AI can work at a large scale while still meeting the reliability and compliance needs that regulated industries demand.

Part of a bigger pattern

This is not Automation Anywhere's first move into AI this year. Late in 2025, the company bought another AI firm called Aisera, which focused on automating support for employees inside a company. Boost.ai extends that same idea outward, toward customers.

Mihir Shukla, CEO and chairman of Automation Anywhere, explained the thinking behind these purchases. He said every business handles three kinds of work: serving customers, supporting employees, and running daily operations. He said most companies handle these three separately, and Automation Anywhere wants to connect them so that one customer conversation can flow smoothly into the systems that complete the task.

The company also shared a number about its own growth. It said that over the past six quarters, AI-related sales made up nearly 70% of its new and repeat business. Ankur Kothari, co-founder and chief operating officer, said that real progress with AI will happen when companies stop just counting how many AI "agents" they use, and instead redesign how work actually gets done around results.

What to watch if you are considering this kind of tool

  1. Ask how the AI hands off a conversation to a real person when needed.
  2. Find out who is responsible if an automated process breaks down partway through.
  3. Compare this kind of all-in-one automation against hiring an outside customer service provider, since both are valid options depending on your needs.

This deal signals a shift happening across the industry. Instead of companies buying separate tools for customer chat and separate tools for back-office automation, vendors like Automation Anywhere want to offer the whole journey in one package.

If you are evaluating whether AI customer service tools make sense for your business, start by listing the exact tasks you want automated from start to finish, not just the "chat" part. That will help you see whether a tool like this actually saves work, or just moves the same problems somewhere else.

As enterprises adopt virtual agents for customer service, using an ai image for posts automation can further streamline their overall digital workflow.

Beyond streamlining workflows, modern tech firms often rely on an automation backlinks builder to drive organic traffic toward their newly launched AI-driven customer service features.

This acquisition aims to significantly boost post content automation by seamlessly integrating advanced conversational AI into existing enterprise customer support workflows.
